Plot/Info: Mendoza: A mysterious land home to four packs- the Alturo, the Merit, the Beltine, and the Irrustus. For the most part, the bands of wolves live in relative peace, sticking amongst themselves and choosing, for now, to avoid any serious conflicts...or so everyone thinks.
A rather strange rogue has found himself, quite bewildered, in the middle of lands that he knows nothing about. Taking up shelter within the borders of a pack known as Alturo, this bizarre creature is allowed to become a subordinate and quickly becomes a well-liked member. Some time passes, but before long the Alphess bears her litter, giving birth to four beautiful pups- the pack, of course, is allowed to see Alturo's future heirs, and the foreign wolf takes an unusual liking to them, asking their names and questions in regards to their respective genders. For the first few days, things seem to be going well- until one night a terrible thunderstorm ravages the land; a stray lightning bolt catches a dead tree and the result is a forest fire that in turn is a catalyst for utter chaos. The Alphas rush to maintain order, and it is only a few minutes before the pouring rain extinguishes the flames- but when the Alphess returns to her den, she is horrified to see that two of her beloved children- a male and a female- have turned up missing. Two emissaries of the swiftest paws are chosen to travel to the Beltine and the Merit, but they turn up nothing.
Meanwhile, the stranger, with his two precious bundles clasped gently in his jaws, flees the Alturo boarders under the cover of the pouring rain. During most of the night he travels, constantly checking back over his trail to insure he is not being followed. By the first rays of the morning sun, he reaches his destination; Irrustus. For a brief, flashing moment, the stranger considers turning back, returning his bundle back to their rightful home. But death would only await him. He enters the lands cautiously, traveling to a predetermined location. Here, he hands off his bundles to a trusted Irrustus member, but instead of staying within the pack like he had first planned, the stranger fears for his life and thus, flees once again.
With their new prizes, the Irrustus pack sets to work raising the two pups as their own. They are trained in the Irrustus way, slowly becoming the warriors that the pack had dreamed of. It is only when the two reach adulthood that the Irrustus sets the second part of their plan into motion. They finalize their plans and proclaim war upon the Alturo pack, using the two twisted pups as their lead in the battle.
Other:
"Power, slavery, corrupt governments... The Ancients were supposed to change this world, create civilizations, raise prey and prosper the lands. But what have they brought instead? War, armies, death, blood and worst of all slavery. We are no better than them. We have become them... We have become what we fought so hard not to." - Aurora (Ancient Alphess of Beltine)"[/b]
Long ago, when the ancients roamed the world, four siblings had a plan; a plan to rule a land where wolves could be free; away from the cruelties of the Ancients. They found Mendoza, stumbling out of the mountain paths and into a paradise. The four siblings promised to each take a piece of land, name it as they pleased and control their members as they pleased. The years passed and the Ancients lost sight of the four siblings, looking past the paradise beyond the mountains, doubting they had survived the trek through the mountains. The siblings soon grew restless, wanting more and more power, just as the Ancients had. They fought over land and titles and shed blood when it wasn’t necessary. Soon the siblings turned on one another. In the Great Battle of their time, they faced themselves, the leaders of their packs and they realized what they had done. They had destroyed families, destroyed lives and for what? Nothing. They had become as cruel and corrupt as the ancients when they had sworn not to. They felt that the best thing to do was leave the packs to their kin, the wolves themselves and let them be the judges of their lives, to flip a new leaf and return Mendoza to the paradise it once was. But power and cruelty never really leaves does it?Are you brave enough to brave a paradise still writhing with power and chaos?
