One thread per member. 0 0 Adoption All the bios of characters that have been given up for adoption will be moved here. The original owner of the character will decide who gets it unless they were deleted, in which case, Amaranth will choose. 0 0 Alder Pack Shadow Glade Shadow Glade is appropriately named, since that's exactly what it is: a small, grassy glade surrounded by pine trees that shadow the open space. A narrow, yet always-flowing stream babbles at one edge of the glade. This is where Alder Pack sleeps, eats, and spends a lot of their time. 0 0 The Territory Most of Alder Pack's territory is forest. Clearings, water sources, and more exotic sights such as meadows and cliffs scatter the pack's turf as well. 0 0 Pup Dens Located on a hillside dotted with wildflowers are the dens that pups and their mothers will live in. At the top of the hill, willow trees overhang a small stream, the water source for the pack. 0 0 Crescent Pack The Boulders The Boulders are a widespread rock outcropping in a meadow of lush grass. There are several puddles of rainwater ranging from small to rather large and shielded from the sun by the tall stones they sit before. The wolves get nice shade (as well as places to sunbathe) and protection here. This is where Crescent Pack sleeps, eats, and spends a lot of their time. 0 0 The Territory Crescent Pack's territory is a bit more open than Alder Pack's. While they have a decent amount of woodland, there are also various fields and meadows throughout their land, including the wide, grassy space the Boulders sit in; their rendezvous site. 0 0 Pup Dens A few boulders, similar to the pack's rendezvous site, sit in a peaceful forest clearing. Holes have been dug at their bases, allowing pregnant she-wolves to crawl under. These are Crescent Pack's pup dens. 0 0 Eagle Pack Oaken Bridge On bare dirt stands a group of trees; some of the few in Eagle Pack's territory. In the center of these trees lies a man-made bridge of oak wood. However, there's no water in the wedge below it, indicating that it was created long before the pack was, and there's never been any sign of human activity. This is where Eagle Pack sleeps, eats, and spends a lot of their time. 0 0 The Territory Eagle Pack's territory is the most open of all the packs' (although there are still patches of trees, more like tiny forests, scattered around). They're the closest to the mountains, so woodland empties out into grassy meadows. While they have to do a fair amount of running to get from one place to the next, this type of territory is convenient prey-wise, as several herds of deer tend to graze here. 0 0 Pup Dens Somewhere in Eagle Pack's territory sits a shed once used to store food for cows that used to roam the grassland. Upon discovering a hole leading under the building and into it through an opening in the floor (probably created by another animal), the wolves now use the comfortable, hay-filled shed as their pup dens; the rest of the pack sleeps outside. 0 0 Xavier's Pack The Stable Xavier's pack lives in an abandoned horse stable. A pond sits quietly behind the old building, where the dogs can drink whenever they please. Hay still blankets the empty stalls; each dog is allowed one of their own. 0 0 The Territory Technically, Xavier and his pack own the whole town that they live in, but they usually only stay in one area. Occasionally, Xavier sends out patrols to make sure no one has trespassed on seemingly vacant spots in their territory. While the town is now overgrown with plants, it still looks very much like a place where humans once lived. Note: Xavier's pack has no pup dens. They give birth and raise their puppies in the Stable. 0 0 Free Lands The Mountains If any dog or wolf wanted to live far from the packs, this would be the place to go. No packs inhabit it, but a few lone canines roam here. 0 0 Farmland Over an aging wooden fence is field after field and hill after hill of farmland. Cows still graze there; creatures that eat nothing but grass don't need humans to survive. Wolves, whether they're solitary or part of one of the packs, hunt the cows from time to time. 0 0 Town Border This is where buildings become fewer and the roads turn into gravel. At the end of the roads, the trees thicken and the vast forest begins. Though the town border (sometimes just referred to as the border) is part of Xavier's pack's territory, they rarely go there, and so loners are hardly ever confronted when living or taking shelter in the area. 1 2 on Jun 14, 2009, 2:26am by Amaranth in The Wolves Are At The ... The Forest This lush forest is unclaimed, allowing wolves, dogs, and any other creatures to wander freely. Until, however, scent markers become common and Alder Pack's territory begins. 0 0 Afterlife The Sky Peaceful starry skies is where the spirit wolves live.
